Nicola Speaks Out For 1st Time Since Love Island Games Accident

Taking to her social media, Nicola Rachel Warr issued her first comment after having had to exit the Love Island Games villa in the US after suffering a head injury.

Taking to her social media, she thanked everyone ‘for all the messages and love regarding last night’s episode.’

During her challenge against Garbi, Nicola was hit by a medicine ball in the head.

The match was immediately stopped with medics rushing in to assist Nicola.

Nicola, though conscious and eager to continue, was escorted off the set for safety reasons. Host Ariana Madix later confirmed that while Nicola was feeling better, she could not remain in the competition.

As she had been ahead in the game at the time of the accident, she was declared the winner but was nonetheless sent home without saying a proper goodbye to her cast mates or partner, Casey O’Gorman.
