In June of last year, Spears told a judge that her conservatorship prevented her from marrying or even removing her birth control. She had also said that she wanted a family with Asghari, her 28-year-old personal trainer.

The form of legal guardianship which was set up by her father in 2008 after she experienced a public mental health crisis meant that she could not make her own decisions about medical care.

Spears revealed that the legal arrangement included control over her reproductive health. Speaking after the revelation of her pregnancy, Spears said she won’t be going out much to avoid paparazzi.

Following the news that NGO BirdLife all be seeking court action against the opening of the spring hunting season of the turtle dove, the FKNK has responded with its own statement.

The FKNK assured hunters that they are going to do everything they can that the hunting season reopens for turtle doves next Sunday as it is scheduled.

Following BirdLife Malta’s filing of a warrant of prohibition in court to stop the turtle dove hunting season, ‘the FKNK wants to inform hunters who are already in possession of the required license to hunt turtle doves from this Sunday that it is examine all possible avenues, including legal, to counter-act said mandate.’

BirdLife filed a warrant of prohibitory injection in court, through which the NGO is requesting a judicial assessment over the manner in which this year’s hunting season is being permitted. This comes just after the Malta ORNIS Committee voted to lift the ban on spring hunting for turtle doves.

The respondents to the case according to the mandate are Prime Minister Robert Abela, Gozo Minister Clint Clint Camilleri and Environment Minister Miriam Dalli.
