Netflix reality television show Dubai Bling stars Danya F. M. Almulla ( @thedivadee ) and Fahrana Bodi (@farhanabodi ) are currently in Malta, with the two sharing stories around the island.

Both of them boast millions of followers, with Danya boasting 1.2 million and Farhana boasting 2.9 million.

Alishia Cassar Honoured To Mark Retirement From Football

The Malta Football Association honoured former Women’s National Team player Alishia Cassar with a special commemorative shirt to mark her retirement from football.

The shirt was presented by President Bjorn Vassallo to mark her 61 times wearing the Maltese shirt.

She gave her all every time she stepped onto the pitch, MFA wrote. ‘A true Red. Thank you for your service.’

Renowned actress Helena Bonham Carter was spotted dining at Naxxar, Malta’s Palazzo Parisio.

The actress, known for her roles in Fight Club, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and Corpse Bride, snapped a photo with one of the staff at the restaurant.

‘We’re convinced she’s actually been living in our walls all along – she fits right into our delightfully eccentric world’, wrote the restaurant’s social media page.

Suwaida Bugeja & Sean Jenkins Crowned Miss & Mr World Malta

Suwaida Bugeja was crowned Miss World Malta, while the title of Mr World Malta was awarded to Sean Jenkins yesterday.

After many hopeful contestants took to the catwalk to earn the prestigious title for the 29th edition held at Villa Bighi, the Miss and Mr World Malta the official titles were awarded to these two young models, under the organisation of Claudia Calleja and Sue Rossi.

Some might remember Sean from Love Island Malta Season 2, which saw him enter the villa in search of love.

The two will now be representing Malta in one of the biggest beauty contests around. Congratulations!
