Local Gozitan politicians made their way to the Nadur Carnival celebrations, embracing the tradition of floats and costumes with the people themselves.

Two Gozitan politicians, Nationalist Party MP Alex Borg and Labour MEP Thomas Bajada both joined in on the fun, posing for photos with costumed celebrators.

Both Alex and Thomas hail from Malta’s sister island, and always emphasised Gozo’s rich cultural history and long-standing traditions – and what better way to honour them than by joining in one of its most iconic cultural expressions through carnival!
