Swimming olympian Neil Agius took to social media over the weekend to share the impressive feats being carried out by the young Jake Vella.

‘Jake has every excuse (all valid) under the sun to stay in bed all day. It’s justified given his condition. Instead I find him swimming this morning with an oxygen tank. Yes, an oxygen tank.’

Jake, a sports ambassador from Malta, suffers from ROHHAD, a medical condition which keeps him overweight despite all attempts by him to exercise and trim down.

However, Jake never let this stop him, with this video showing his father Josie walking beside him to keep the tank within the tubes’ reach.

‘This is straight up legendary status’, Neil said, describing Josie as an inspiration to us all.’

This makes it one of the biggest domestic openings of 2023, surpassing Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never.” Directed by Sam Wrench, the film chronicles Swift’s 2023-2024 world tour, offering fans an immersive experience.

Double Murder Shocks Marsa Community as Police Launch Investigation

In a shocking turn of events, the town of Marsa has been gripped by a devastating double murder that occurred around 9:30am.

The victims, Maltese, identified as a man of 73 years and his partner of 56 years, met a tragic fate in the man’s garage located in the Triq it-Tiġrija area of Marsa. Two other people were also involved and injured in the argument.

The male victim, from Gudja, was a well-known figure among horse enthusiasts in the community. The exact circumstances surrounding the double murder are currently under investigation by the authorities.

As the investigation unfolds, the police have taken a person into custody in connection with this gruesome incident. The police also have the alleged murder weapon used.

The scene of the crime was flooded with a substantial police presence, including the specialised crime investigation unit.

In response to the incident, a number of ambulances arrived on-site to provide immediate assistance, while friends and family of the victims gathered, deeply shocked by the tragedy that has befallen their loved ones.

A medical team has been deployed to offer support and care to the grieving relatives during this difficult time.

A Magisterial Inquiry is being led by Kevin Azzopardi.
