Multiple Air Malta flights experiencing hours of delays

2 technical issues earlier today seem to have effected at least 10 Air Malta journeys with some passengers experiencing over 8 hours of delay.

At least 10 different journeys have so far been effected.

Some passengers have reportedly been waiting in Lyon for more than 8 hours, for a flight that is yet to leave from Malta.

No official statement has been issued by Air Malta.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s FIFA rating has hit its lowest level in 16 years

It marks the first time in a decade that Ronaldo’s FIFA rating has slipped below 90 – it stood at 89 in FIFA 11.

Ronaldo had started the season in FIFA 23 as a 90-rated star.

At 88-rating The Portuguese will still become Saudi’s Al Nassr’s best player in FIFA 23, even with his slight downgrade.

FIFA 23 is the final game in the series, with EA Sports working on its own series which will be called EA Sports FC.

Search for armed thief still ongoing after robbery in Qormi

Early this morning, at around 3am, Police were informed that a shop in Triq Manuel Dimech, Qormi, was robbed.

From early investigations, Police found out that a man armed with a knife entered the shop and asked the cashier to hand over money.

The alleged thief fled the scene with an amount of cash.

The cashier did not suffer any injuries.

Police Magistrate Leonard Caruana was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry while the investigations are still ongoing.

Investigations still ongoing: Building caught fire in Mosta

At around 2am, Police were informed that a store in Constitution Road, Mosta, had caught fire.

The Civil Protection Department and Enemalta officials arrived at the scene, and helped evacuate residents of the same building whilst ensuring that the danger was controlled in a timely manner.

At the time of the incident the shop was closed and no one got hurt.

Police investigations to establish the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
