A wholesome video uploaded by Ilwien on social media shows the moment Maltese father and son John and Damian after 7 years.

Damian had been living in Japan for 7 years, and his father John has finally managed to visit him due to the distance proving to be difficult for a quick reunion.

However, this made for an immensely wholesome moment as the two hugged it out at the airport, clearly emotional after such a long time apart.

On his part, Prime Minister Robert Abela emphasised the people’s right to vote for who they want to be leading the country.

He said that this is why the 8th of June will be important as this will once again give the people the power to choose and not fall under the influence of who want to manipulate how the country is run.

He ended by saying that neither he, nor the court, nor the establishment possess the power to lead the country.

Meanwhile, Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech said the justice system is being attacked by the chief of the executive – the prime minister – as they influence how the justice system works and who it serves justice against.

He accused the Prime Minister as knowingly lying and that he can do this as he is only interested in the upcoming elections and the seats of power.

This comes as the court case opened by the Nationalist Party has been extended once again.

What do you make of this?
