Moment Lifeguards Save Four Kids Struggling At Sea

Moment Lifeguards Save Four Kids Struggling At Sea
Jul 3 2023 Share

A video shared by Malta Red Cross shows the moment two lifeguards jumped into the water to assist four children who were finding it difficult to swim back to shore at Għajn Tuffieħa.

The video shows rather large waves pummelling the beach, with the children facing difficulty swimming back to shore.

The lifeguards managed to return the swimmers back to safety and released an appeal to social media to abide by rules set by lifeguards.

Malta Red Cross had set up a double red flag earlier during the day, which means that it is considered dangerous to attempt to swim at that time.

Despite the danger, the lifeguards did not waste any time in diving in for a rescue. Whilst commending the lifeguards for their work, it is also important for the public to heed the warnings and be familiar with any relevant safety information.
