Maltese football star Teddy Teuma has been appointed captain of top-tier French club Stade de Reims.

Teuma joined the French side last season from Belgian contenders Royale Union Saint-Gilloise for a reported €5 million fee, making him the most expensive Maltese footballer to date.

In his debut season with the six-time French champions, the dynamic midfielder scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists, quickly establishing himself as Reims’ standout player. Teuma’s 6 goals also made him the club’s top scorer.

Last season, Reims climbed the standings to secure an impressive 9th-place finish, narrowly missing out on a historic European spot.

Malta Premier League Introduces New Camera Angles

Malta Premier League Introduces New Camera Angles
Aug 14 2024 Share

Say goodbye to the old camera angles…. get ready for a season of football like never before!

The Malta Premier League and the national broadcaster PBS have made a significant investment in enhancing the match day experience for the many audiences following Malta Premier matches set to begin a week today.

Over the years, television viewers have raised concerns about the main camera position filming live matches from the enclosure at the National Stadium, which often denied the real stadium atmosphere during matches.

This substantial investment will establish a new camera position from the Millennium Stand, allowing viewers from home to immerse themselves in the thrilling environment and noise generated by fans in attendance, particularly those in the West A and West C stands under the canopy.

The main camera will be positioned at a point directly opposite the main stand of the stadium, catching the most important facilities over the 90 minutes of action, such as VIP boxes, team benches, and press areas.

A permanent studio has also been installed at the Millennium Hall, facilitating all TV production, pre-match buildup and other media requirements from the Millennium Stand.

This initiative is just one of several innovative projects implemented by the Malta Premier League, aiming to provide a better experience and higher standards as we gear up for the start of the 360Sports Malta Premier League on Friday next week.
