During a recent wiwibloggs interview, Malta’s Eurovision 2025 representative Miriana Conte joked about the eight points she received 8 points from the public.

Continuing her now renowned play on words (given her song’s previous name ‘KANT’, which means singing in Maltese but something else entirely in English), Conte said that she ‘ate at Eurovision.’

That is, she got eight points. Still Miriana did gain a total of 91 points, with 83 points given to her by the jury.

In the comments section of the wiwibloggs video, many praised Miriana for her sense of humour and positive attitude.

The singer, back in Malta, has been teasing some new music set to be released very soon as she continues her blossoming career.

Jun 11 2025 Share

Lawyer Franco Debono has taken to Facebook to underline what he described as the most urgent question currently facing the Nationalist Party; whether Roberta Metsola will put herself forward for the party leadership.

According to Debono, this question must be addressed promptly if the PN is to move forward with clarity and direction. “The longer the uncertainty continues, the less it benefits the party,” he wrote.

Following the resignation of Bernard Grech, Debono took to social media to share all the messages he received urging him to vie for the leadership of the Nationalist Party.

Meanwhile, international publication Politico highlighted Metsola’s potential as a candidate for PN leader, adding further weight to the ongoing speculation.

Although there is ongoing speculation, no official announcements have been made.
