Miriana Conte has really hit it off with Finland’s Eurovision representative Erika Vikman, who will be competing this year with the song ‘Ich komme.’

Both singers caused a bit of a controversy due to the title of their tracks, with Miriana’s having to be changed and censored from ‘KANT’ to ‘SERVING.’

A 25 year old man resident of Santa Venera and a 24 year old woman resident of Bormla were arrested during traffic inspections in Triq is-Salib tal-Marsa.

On Saturday noon, during routine inspections, police stopped a Kia Picanto. The driver raised suspicion and was asked to exit the vehicle.

A search on his person yielded an amount of money in cash, whereas a search on the vehicle and the passenger’s bag yielded a number of packets suspected to be cannabis as well as other packets with suspected cocaine.

The drugs were found in a circumstance which suggested they were not meant for personal use.

An inquiry has been opened about the case.
