Mindhunter may return for third series

Mindhunter may return for third series
Apr 24 2021 Share

The short-lived thriller series Mindhunter may be coming back for a third instalment after having ended back in 2019 after just two seasons. According to Small Screen, both executive producer David Fincher and Netflix are in talks to bring back the series for a third season. Many fans will be very excited to see Holden Ford, Bill Tench and Wendy Carr back together, but for now we all have to work with preliminary discussions.

The series had run for two seasons from 2017 to 2019 before being put on indefinite hiatus. Netflix announced in January 2020 that the cast was released form their contracts, marking an end. Fincher wanted to focus on other projects, and thus didn’t want to hold the actors captive. But an investigation of what the third season might be like is now possible, and we may be getting the continuation we deserve after all!

After being involved in an altercation with 50-year-old Des Keogh back in 2019, Conor McGregor has allegedly purchased the bar in which the confrontation took place. He then proceeded to bar the man from the bar, making McGregor’s purchase of this bar slightly more special than his other establishments. McGregor took to Twitter to announce the purchase, adding ‘Ye, and your mans barred’.

Footage released in 2019 showed how the incident occurred, with McGregor striking the 50-year-old after he refused to take a drink from McGregor’s own Proper No.12 whiskey twice. McGregor later admitted to assaulting the man in court, and apologised, being fined €1000 (£860).

The total number of active cases in Malta have dropped beneath the 500 mark. This is the first time since 4th October 2020 that Malta had less than 500 active cases. Only 20 new cases were registered today, with an increase in recoveries at 57. No new deaths were registered today.

Superintendent for Public Health Charmaine Gauci has also revealed in a COVID-19 bulletin yesterday that there are currently no cases of the virus in the Gozo General Hospital. Accompanied by the decrease in cases overall, this is a positive sign of the health measures in place and the vaccine roll out system which is still ongoing.
