We might not be ready to say goodbye to Eleven, but Millie sure seems to do so.

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role as Eleven in “Stranger Things,” has expressed her readiness to bid farewell to the series.

At 19, she feels it’s time to move on, as the show has consumed a significant amount of her time, hindering her from pursuing projects she’s truly passionate about. While acknowledging the valuable experience and resources gained from the role, she looks forward to maintaining connections with her co-stars.

Brown also opened up about the scrutiny she faced during interviews with her fellow cast members at a young age. Critics accused her of overshadowing others, leading to hurtful comments like “idiot” and “brat.”

“I was just penalised for overtalking and oversharing and being too loud,” she remembered. “We’re kids – we talk over each other.”

This experience has made her protective of young actors, emphasizing the importance of not diminishing their growth and self-esteem.

In a tragic turn of events, the Euro 2024 qualifier between Belgium and Sweden was halted at halftime following a shooting in Brussels.

Two individuals lost their lives, prompting players to unanimously opt against continuing the game. The incident occurred just 5 kilometers from the King Baudouin Stadium, where the match was taking place.

The perpetrator, who remains at large, claimed allegiance to the Islamic State.

Belgium and Swedish authorities swiftly heightened security measures to safeguard visiting fans. This incident comes amidst a series of Quran-burning protests in Sweden and Denmark, provoking international outrage and prompting reevaluation of liberal laws on freedom of speech in Scandinavia.

The attack led to a surge in terror threat levels in Brussels and reinforced border checks between France and Belgium. The Belgian Foreign Minister called for resolute action against radicalism, extending condolences to the victims’ families.

Prime Minister De Croo urged vigilance while emphasizing the importance of not sharing sensitive material out of respect for the victims.
