Ferrari To Drive In Blue For Miami Grand Prix

Apr 30 2024 Share

Ferrari have surprised the racing world with reports stating that they will race in a blue car to commemorate their new title sponsorship with technological company HP.

They have already announced that drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will be racing in baby blue racing suits.

The cars are set to feature two different shades of blue, Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino. The former is a lighter shade, the official racing color of Argentina. The darker, Azzurro Dino, was used on driver uniforms in the mid-1970s.

The blue Ferrari will also be a nod to their two time blue and white livery back in 1964 after iconic founder and owner Enzo Ferrari had an argument with Formula One bosses at the time.

Even though there have been no official announcement when it comes to the livery the shocking story is expected to be true and made official about a week ahead of the car’s official race debut on May 5.
