Arnold Cassola’s Last Message: “Malta Will Be Reborn”

Jun 6 2024 Share

Independent MEP candidate and political veteran Arnold Cassola launched his final message before Saturday’s election in a heartfelt video address. In the video, Cassola calls for a rebirth of Malta, highlighting the country’s need for significant change.

Cassola addresses various groups, including students, workers, entrepreneurs, families, and older people, stating that issues like environmental destruction, community chaos, and the mental health crisis stem from an old and inefficient political system. He emphasises the opportunity for a fresh start, advocating for a competent and honest political class.

Cassola highlights the importance of the European Union funds Malta will be negotiating, which will impact the country’s future. He criticises the previous administration for allegedly wasting half of the EUR 1.3 billion fund on an ineffective road system, neglecting education, the environment, business innovation, and village beautification.

His mission in Brussels focuses on building an economy that offers hope to young people, creating a beautiful country, an efficient transport system, and serious governance. Cassola references a peaceful demonstration last year to show the maturity of the Maltese people and their capacity for love, urging voters to move away from political tribalism.

Cassola concludes by encouraging voters to participate in the election and vote for him, promising relentless work to modernize Malta and secure its place as a shining star in the European Union.
