The areas marked red indicated temperatures more than 5°C above the seasonal average.
‘The most intense warming was observed in the western Mediterranean basin, including the Balearic Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea.’
Meanwhile, It-Temp Madwarna reported that the second heat wave of this summer will reach the maximum today, Friday 27th, with temperatures set to hit 35°C.
This of course comes with health warnings for people to stay safe from the heat, wear protection, stay hydrated and take necessary precautions.
