Tonight at 9 PM, TVM will broadcast the highly anticipated Golden Bee awards, a key event of the Mediterrane Film Festival.
Malta’s Film Commissioner Johann Grech shared the news on social media, reflecting on the festival’s significance to the promotion of Malta overseas. Grech recalled his earlier speech at the event, stating, “No matter how long it takes, we will do whatever it takes, to bring the adventures of the Knights to the screen.”
In a separate post, Grech called the Mediterrane Film Festival a “major advertisement for Malta,” emphasising its value in attracting international film projects to the island. “It is a tool for us to bring more film projects to our country,” Grech added, underscoring the importance of the event in Malta’s growing film industry.
This year’s festival drew an impressive lineup of international stars, including Patrice Evra, Heather Graham, Sarah Rafferty, David Walliams, and many others, further boosting Malta’s reputation as a desirable filming location.
Tune in to TVM at 9 PM to catch the Golden Bee awards and celebrate the achievements of the Mediterrane Film Festival.
