Matthew Grech’s comments on Buttigieg’s parenthood news spur outrage

Following the news that Maltese-American congressman Pete Buttigieg and his husband have become parents, ex-gay Matthew Grech took to the Facebook comments section to criticise this very fact. He opened his comment by stating that this is not a family God will ever recognise as legitimate and that those countries which introduced the right for LGBTIQ+ members to be parents need to confess in front of the creator.

Matthew Grech’s comments on Buttigieg’s parenthood news spur outrage

Grech states that they are mocking God’s design and that any homosexual bond is ‘perverted’ in the eyes of God. He announced what he deems to be the good news that when one confesses his sins, Jesus will show mercy and accept them. He ended his homophobic comment by stating that not all that glitters is gold. The comment was met with much disdain and criticism, despite the rest of post containing very similar condemnations of Buttigieg’s otherwise wonderful news.

New MFA rules allows referees to stop matches if racism is present

Aug 18 2021 Share

Yesterday the MFA announced a new rule which will see local referees have the ability to halt and abandon games if racist abuse is present from either the crowd or on the pitch.

There will be a 3-step procedure every match. Step number one will be communication from the referee and match officials to the supporters by the use of the PA system. They will tell supporters to calm down and stop, but if the abuse keeps on going after the match is restarted then the referee will halt the match for a few minutes. If the abuse continues even after the halt, then the referee can abandon the game and the racism case will be referred to the Control, Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.

These rules will hopefully eradicate all type of abuse in football. Football should be a community where you are left to let free not to be abused because of your race, religion or sexuality.

More Sex Education Season 3 Teaser Photos a month before release

More Sex Education Season 3 Teaser Photos a month before release
Aug 18 2021 Share

As the third season of fan favourite series Sex Education draws nearer, more teaser photos have been released and we’re super excited! We’ve got photos of Aimee and Maeve looking super badass, a super cute photo of Adam and Eric strolling through the woods together holding hands and a photo with Otis rocking a bit of a moustache.

Fans are however asking where is Gillian Anderson, who plays Jean, Otis’ mother. She has not yet appeared in any promotional material unlike every other character, old and new. The cast will be revitalised with a new headmistress, headmaster Groff’s older brother and a new non-binary student. They will be joining the well-established cast as we find out what will happen following season 2’s heartbreaking and nerve-wracking cliff hanger. We will also be getting some development to Eric’s relationship with Adam and, once Jean is set to appear, an update on her motherhood status (to keep it spoiler free).
