During her interview with the Times of Malta, Superintendent for Public Health Prof. Charmaine Gauci also revealed that masks must be worn during the summer months, even at the beach.
Professor Gauci stated that despite the recent announcement of planned immunity towards June, rules of masks in public places along with the washing of hands and social distancing must still be followed.
The superintendent went on to highlight that the relaxation of measures is already risky, and that is why masks must be worn during the summer months in activities such as swims and BBQs, except while the individual is eating.
