Mariah Carey has brought an iconic meme to life, filming a video of her being melted out of an ice block as Christmas draws nearer.

It’s no strange concept to anyone today that as the festive season inches closer, the song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ re-emerges from the cyclical slumber to either fill get togethers with wintery glee or mentally exhaust retail workers.

And with the song already having seen an uptick in listens (it’s still November 1st guys!), the singer has embraced the cultural phenomenon the song has become with this video.

Personally, we’re not really giving Halloween its due attention. But hey, people who decorate for Christmas early are, reportedly, happier. And in all fairness, the guys doing the defrosting did wear Halloween costumes in a wink to the spooky time of year.

Haley Bugeja With Hat-Trick As Malta Beats Andorra 3-0

Haley Bugeja’s explosive hat-trick steered Malta to their fourth consecutive triumph in the UEFA Women’s Nations League on Tuesday.

With a hat-trick by Bugeja, the Maltese team now comfortably stands at the top of the UEFA Nations League Women 23/24 League C Group 1 with 12 points, having won the previous games in rapid succession.

The runner-up, Latvia, stands at 7 points as the Maltese continue to dominate the game.

With goals by Bugeja in the 36th, 39th and 43rd minute, the star player has managed to bag her second Malta hat-trick at the competitive level as she takes the top-scorer spot in the competition with 8 goals so far.

Traffic In Mrieħel Following Crash: Police On Scene

A vehicle crash in Mrieħel has resulted in a slight traffic jam as police officers manage the scene of a crash which seemingly took place between a car and a motorcycle.

Police updates reveal that at around 0600hrs, police were called onto the scene. A crash between a Kia Avella driven by a 19 year old Birkirkara resident and an Aprilia motorcycle driven by a 33 year old man resident of San Pawl il-Baħar.

A medical team was called on site and gave the required medical aid to the motorcyclist. He was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
