Facebook & Instagram Crash Once Again

Facebook & Instagram Crash Once Again
Mar 11 2024 Share

This is the second time the Meta owned social media platforms went down in less than a week.

Last week, many reported being signed out of their Facebook and Messenger accounts as well as not being able to view their main Instagram feed.

Last week, on March 5, 2024, a widespread outage hit Facebook and its affiliated platforms, including Instagram and WhatsApp.

Users experienced login issues and disruptions, with Meta attributing the problem to “technical difficulties.” Facebook and Messenger were particularly affected, with repeated login failures and session expirations. While Instagram remained accessible for some users, others encountered difficulties, suggesting a partial outage.

Meta swiftly addressed the issue, restoring Facebook logins to normalcy. The incident highlights the vulnerability of our digital connections in today’s technological landscape, prompting reflection on the reliance placed on social media platforms for communication and connectivity.
