Man grievously injured in fall

A 46-year-old man was seriously injured after falling into a reservoir in Kirkop. 

Police said the incident occurred at 7:15 a.m. on Monday in a quarry in Sqaq Ramlija. According to investigations, the man from Mqabba was working on the reservoir and fell off the fence. He was immediately rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.

The 16-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate the fact that she has been named Serie A’s female player of the month.

From player of the week to player of the month, this is not Haley’s first sign of acclaim and without a doubt in our minds, it will not be the last.

Prof. Charmaine Gauci forewarns increase in cases if measures are ignored

Following this morning’s record-high announcement of 218 overnight cases, Superintendent for Public Health warns of a rise in the rate of infection if the public continues to ignore measures and restrictions.

In reference to the recently-circulating social media posts of large crowd gatherings, Professor Gauci stated that while many people have adapted and are following measures, many others are not.

Malta currently stands at 1,937 active cases with a total of 66 deaths.
