A 30-year-old Paola resident by the name of Melvin Debono has been charged in Court after an argument reportedly took place in the queue at the McDonald’s Drive Thru in Għargħur.
The squabble took place on Sunday, where the two customers were in their car, queueing and waiting to be served. Whilst waiting in line, Debono honked his horn at the patron in front of him, to which the man at the front responded saying that he was also waiting to be served.
A verbal argument began to escalate, with Debono eventually exiting his car to threaten the man in front of him. Debono is also reported to have said that he was going to shoot the driver and make them into a corpse, whilst also damaging the other man’s car.
Debono had to pay €652.40 in damages as well as €1,000 in court fines.
