Health Minister Chris Fearne stated that the virus is being considered endemic by the health authorities, with the number of new virus cases amounting to around 20 daily.

The vaccine rollout against COVID-19 continues, with health authorities providing the new Omicron variant jab and the flu vaccine together as a severe influenza season is being forecasted.

With no measures in place, this will be the first winter where people are not forced to wear masks or social distance. This is the main worry behind a severe flu season, with Mater Dei confirming an increase in non-COVID respiratory infections in kids.

The win over Lionel Messi’s Argentina was the biggest shock in World Cup history as the Gulf state managed to beat one of the tournament’s favourites.

“We are so happy about the result. It was an exceptional match from our falcons,” said Ghassan Alwan, 42, marketing director at the Saudi ministry of housing. “Our faith in our players was in the right place. We wrote history tonight.”

The inner circle of Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman was absolutely ecstatic over the victory, as Saudi Arabia is placed at the top of Group C, at least temporarily.
