Malta fully vaccinates 90% of people aged over age 12
Aug 24 2021 Share

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne announced today during a press conference that Malta has fully vaccinated 90% of those aged 12 and over against COVID-19. Malta has administered 792,173 doses as of yesterday 23rd August 2021, with Fearne urging those who are able to get their jab and have not yet to do so. He revealed the news during the launch of a health clinic in Kalkara, adding that 90% of those who contracted COVID-19 and were in critical condition were not vaccinated.

The walk-in clinics have vaccinated 60,000 people in total, with 320,000 vaccine certificates having been downloaded so far. As the Delta variant ravages the world, Fearne highlighted Malta’s strong vaccination programme as only 37 people are currently recovering from the virus at Mater Dei, with two of these in the ITU. The news also comes with some more updates to health measures will be detailed in the coming days.

Onlyfans users crash similar site Fansly after sexual content ban

Onlyfans users crash similar site Fansly after sexual content ban
Aug 24 2021 Share

As OnlyFans site introduced an impending ban on explicitly sexual content which is set to come into effect in October, users have flooded a similar platform called Fansly. The online migration of content creators onto Fansly resulted in the crash of the site as a statement was issued by the platform revealing how 4000 applications were being received every hour.

As Fansly’s staff are working around the clock to expand their team to handle the volume of applications, OnlyFans is still facing immense criticism. Fansly too has criticised the decision by OnlyFans, hoping that they go back on their decision. The new site, which seems to be quickly becoming a user favourite, offers the ability to send mass messages instantly and 24/7 support. It is also commended for being sex worker and SFW content friendly.

The Jamaican decided to celebrate this historic goal with a life size cardboard cut out of himself. He held it high and proceeded to dance with it and jokingly kiss it. The striker later told Sky Sports that his inspiration for the unusual celebration was from the film ‘Save the Last Dance’. It was later revealed that Michail had mixed up his dancing movies and meant to say that the celebration was took from the iconic lift scene in ‘Dirty Dancing’
