Asking our Instagram followers whether they’re spending this Valentine’s Day single or in a relationship (or something in between), 59% revealed that they’re spending it as single.

We also asked followers how they’ll be spending Valentine’s and what the best gift for this holiday of love is.

As for the former question, responses varied from ‘making apple pies with me bestie’ to ‘at school’, from someone having to work and spending the next day with their significant other to, straight up, alone.

Meanwhile, followers got very creative with their Valentine’s gift query, suggesting things like ‘a husky puppy’ to ‘one of those jumbo packs of twistees.’

Another said ‘hermanos 10% discount offer’ whereas someone else might have revealed that they intend to propose with ‘a ring’.

Others simply wished to have a Valentine’s in the first place, whereas some suggested things like presence and support for one’s love.

This car-turned-dancefloor stood out as a unique sight against the backdrop of the carnival’s usual mix of elaborate floats, decorations, and costumes.

The crowd, watching from the opposite side of the street, was treated to an unconventional performance that highlighted the carnival’s reputation for embracing the unexpected.

This act of spontaneous creativity embodies the spirit of the Nadur Spontaneous Carnival, known for its lively atmosphere and the freedom it offers participants to express themselves in the most unconventional ways.

The image of carnival-goers dancing on an overturned car will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable moments from this year’s event, showcasing the lengths to which attendees go to celebrate in their own distinctive styles.
