Katrina Micallef managed to bag bronze at the ILCA 4 Youth World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal.

The Royal Malta Yacht Club shared footage of Katrina celebrating her placement as she waved the Maltese flag on her boat.

The championships take place over a period of nine days, and encourage young sailors to follow their dreams.

Isle of MTV Malta has launched its local line-up, featuring a roster of locally-beloved, homegrown talent.

The line-up of local acts includes performers Klinsmann and Malta’s Eurovision representative, Sarah Bonnici. The list of DJs and presenters is equally impressive, featuring Debrii, Denzel Jo Armani, DOTX, D-Rey, Gabii, JD Patrick, Kurt, Jamie & Taryn from 89.7 Bay, Koroma, Dave, Miggy, and WYNE.

As Europe’s biggest free summer music festival, Isle of MTV Malta promises a festival experience unlike any other. This year, international superstars DJ Snake, RAYE and Nelly Furtado will headline the event, promising a night filled with good vibes, great moments, and your favourite tunes.

Isle of MTV Malta has been a pivotal event in the Maltese music scene for 15 years, drawing massive crowds with performances from music giants such as Lady Gaga and David Guetta, to name a few.

The event will be broadcast internationally on MTV and streamed live on Pluto TV, with on-demand viewing available later on Paramount+. The festival will kick off a week of music events across Malta, featuring renowned artists and vibrant nightlife from July 16th-21st.

Project Green is set to transform the space into an area where residents can enjoy themselves and relax in a green and recreational space.

‘This project is one of four which we announced that aim to give land back to people instead of development’, explained the Minister.
