Maltese athlete secures spot in European championships

Carla Scicluna, young Maltese track and field athlete, has locked her place in European Championship in Poland after bringing her top game at Malta’s Winter championships.

Scicluna qualified for the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland after she completed the 60-metre women’s race with a first place time of 7.69 seconds.

Athletics Malta President Andy Grech expressed his joy for Scicluna, as well other athletes who performed very well in multiple other sports. The championships will be held between 5th and 7th of March.

Kanye West unravels upcoming Adidas Yeezy 450s

After much anticipation, Yeezy creator Kanye West in association with Adidas finally showcase the new Adidas Yeezy 450, appearing as a silhouette on the artist’s feet.

Sporting a more new age look, the shoe allegedly takes on a Primeknit texture whilst retaining Kanye’s iconic experimental nature.

With typical pale sock look and interwoven with loops that complement its bottom, the release will be directed to Yeezy Supply on March 4th, finally ending fan’s keen excitement and wonder.

Bowling 13-year-old signs sponsorship with international corporation

The International Brunswick Youth Team recognised young Maltese rising bowling star Kayden Lagana’s talent and promptly signed a contract with the 13 year old.

Kayden has already been awarded and titled Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month in January 2021, along with having the opportunity to represent Malta Tenpin Bowling Association in Paris in Mediterranean Championships.

Vince Muscat il-Koħħu sentenced 15 years in prison and €42,000

Vince Muscat, known as il-‘Koħħu’ has been dealt a 15-year prison sentence and €42,000 in court expenses after his admission of his involvement in the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

His lawyer, Marc Sant, told the court that his client, Muscat, would register an admission to all charges in what has been a ground-breaking day in the Caruana Galizia assassination investigation.
