Malta emerged victorious in the COMEN Cup 2024, which took place in recent days on the island.
The competition, open to players under 16 years old, was organised by the Mediterranean Swimming Confederation.
The event was also hosted by the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, which means it will be benefitting from funds through the SportMalta Assistance Scheme Sports for Tourism.
Four teams were initially set to participate: Malta A, Malta B, Monaco, and Cyprus. However, Cyprus withdrew from the competition at the last minute.
In the final, Malta A triumphed over Monaco with a score of 12-8.
