Malta’s very own Haley Bugeja receives high praise in FIFA website feature

In 2021, the name Haley Bugeja has been solidified as a rising football star in the international scene and a stellar ambassador to Malta in Italy, but the young football player continues to make waves after having her talents recognised by FIFA themselves.
The 16-year-old’s rise to fame was analogised as ‘the emergence of a real gem’ in her FIFA feature, where they highlighted her ground-breaking debut with Sassuolo amongst other notable appearances in the Serie A.
Football’s highest governing body went on to nod to Haley’s ability to not only adapt, but thrive in her current situation despite being away from her family at the age of 16 as she signs off with her mantra, ‘Pressure makes diamonds’.
