Malta’s very own Elvis tribute artist, Josuel Grech, has achieved a major milestone by winning the prestigious competition at the renowned Parkes Elvis Festival in Australia.
Grech, who had been keeping his many Maltese fans updated through Facebook, proudly announced his victory after achieving his dream of winning the competition.
Overflowing with gratitude, he shared, “Thank you to everyone who supported me and showed so much love here at the Parkes Elvis Festival.”
The Parkes Elvis Festival is recognised as one of Australia’s top three festivals and events, drawing an impressive 25,000 fans annually and boasting a global reach of 1.874 billion.
Held in Parkes, New South Wales, the festival celebrates the life and music of Elvis Presley and coincides with the legendary singer’s birthday.
The 2025 edition, marking the event’s 32nd year, took place from January 8 to January 12.
Fans from all over the world gathered to enjoy live performances, competitions, and tributes to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Josuel Grech’s remarkable victory adds a proud chapter to Malta’s cultural representation on the international stage.
