In 2021, global sustainability should be one of our primary goals as citizens of the Earth and Malta’s newest green concept Greenie is making sure of it.

Rather than targeting environmentalists, vegans or vegetarians, this eco-friendly platform appeals to individuals from different walks of life to inform them of environmental news, awareness, locations, recipes and is calling on environmentally-conscientious companies and restaurants to work together towards a greener Earth.

Greenie’s objective is to raise the demand for environmentally-friendly products and services to ultimately work towards a greener, and stronger planet and encourages as much people as possible to follow their page and join their community.

Following reports of blood clots and the USA halting the vaccine out of an abundance of caution, it seems Malta will be following in these footsteps as it will not be using the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Superintendent for Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci confirmed this in an interview with a Times of Malta journalist.

The one shot vaccine will be halted by not just Malta but the UE along with the US due to 6 cases of blood clots resulted from 6.8 million doses administered. AstraZeneca will still be administered. She also stated that Malta will not give the option for people to choose to take the second shot from a different company, as did Germany.

The future is now: NYPD robodog goes viral and freaks people out

The future is now: NYPD robodog goes viral and freaks people out
Apr 14 2021 Share

Maybe Black Mirror was really onto something. A viral video of the New York Police Department’s new robodog is freaking people out. The video begins with police officers exiting a building with a man in handcuffs, only to be followed by a blue four-legged robot called Digidog slowly prancing its way alongside officers.

The person recording the footage exclaimed ‘I’ve never seen nothing like this before in my life.’ Up close and personal? – maybe not. But its definitely something reminiscent of futuristic media. Commentators were genuinely freaked out by the dog. Some stated ‘This is very unsettling for me. Why does it look like that?’ Another exclaimed ‘Can we not do this right now. Who in their right mind thought this would be a good idea just fresh out of 2020 like this.’
