The Armed Forces of Malta welcomed the public for an open day on Sunday 27th October at Floriana’s Haywharf Base.
Visitors were welcomed – with an entrance free of charge – to various exhibitions and activities.
These included Explosive Ordnance Disposal Demonstrations, Target Shooting, Assault Courses, Hands-on Workshops and even Entertainment for Kids.

Speaking to Malta Daily’s Keane Cutajar, Minister for Finance Clyde Caruana calculated that around 60,000 people will tune in to the Budget announcement tonight.

This doesn’t make the Minister nervous however, he told Keane. Minister Clyde Caruana will be presenting the budget tonight, Monday 28th October in parliament, in a speech that is expected take about 2 hours.

The town of Żebbuġ in Gozo turned into a Halloween town over the weekend, bringing families and kids in costumes down to the ‘Valley of Fears’.
Organised by the local council in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Directorate through the Ministry for Gozo & Panning, a massive turnout of colourful and spooky costumes convened in celebration.
With lots of games and activities for those in attendance, many praised the organisation of the event and hope to see more of such activities which bring the community together.
