Located at the Kordin National Hockey Centre in Paola, this exciting new attraction spans over 10,000 square metres and offers something for everyone.

The park features a huge 1,000 square metre pool, ideal for both swimming and relaxing. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just want to unwind, Jolly Jump caters to all ages in a safe, family-friendly environment.

With daily opening hours from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, it’s the ultimate summer destination from its launch on Tuesday 1st July through to mid-September.

Each ticket includes a sun bed for added comfort, and umbrellas are available throughout the park to provide shade.

Prime Minister Robert Abela Holds Key Meetings In Strasbourg During Malta’s Presidency of the Council of Europe

Prime Minister Robert Abela met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, and the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Theodoros Roussopoulos, in Strasbourg.

During both meetings, the Prime Minister discussed Malta’s priorities within the Council of Europe, touching on critical issues such as the war in Ukraine and the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion Ian Borg, Head of the Maltese Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Government Whip Naomi Cachia, and Malta’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, Francesca Camilleri Vettiger, Dr Abela emphasised Malta’s continued commitment to dialogue and multilateralism.

In a symbolic gesture of support, the Prime Minister made a donation on behalf of the Maltese Government to back a Council of Europe initiative under the Democratic Pact for Europe. This project aims to strengthen democratic resilience, combat violence against women, and amplify the voices of children and young people, among other objectives.

Art Meets Action In Heritage Malta’s Summer Student Programme Inspired By Biennale

Minister for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government of Malta, Owen Bonnici, has officially launched Heritage Malta’s 2025 Summer Student Programme, offering a season full of learning and enriching educational experiences for children and young people passionate about Malta’s cultural heritage.

In his speech at the launch, Minister Bonnici said, “Between July and September across Malta and Gozo, the programme offers 17 educational workshops designed for children aged 6 to 13, inspired by the Malta Biennale 2026 and its intriguing theme: Clean, Inform, Scatter.”

He explained that the programme was developed as a cultural and creative preparation for the Biennale, reflecting key ideas such as environmental care, sustainable living, and social connection. Dr Bonnici praised the leadership and staff of Heritage Malta, emphasising that such initiatives greatly contribute to strengthening the country’s cultural ecosystem.

Mario Cutajar, Chairman of Heritage Malta and President of maltabiennale.art 2026, stated: “The Malta Biennale has become part of the Maltese calendar to serve as a link between past and present — a reimagining of our history to better understand today and ourselves. Art is a tool to discuss our surroundings within the framework of heritage. Heritage Malta’s summer programme aims to prepare future generations to better understand their environment through art and to appreciate the vital role museums play as a continuous source of knowledge and relevance to society.”

The programme is open to all children and young people holding the Heritage Malta Student Passport, which can be obtained free of charge from schools across Malta and Gozo. Tickets include admission for one accompanying adult and can be purchased online at www.heritagemalta.mt/store or at any Heritage Malta site. Early booking is recommended as places for each activity are limited.

Activities will be held at iconic locations such as MUŻA, the Inquisitor’s Palace, the Grandmaster’s Palace, the Ġgantija Archaeological Park, and Ta’ Kola Windmill — offering children a unique opportunity to connect with their heritage while thinking about a better future.

Thomas Bajada was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) during the 2024 European Parliament elections held on 8 June 2024. He officially began his term on 16 July 2024.

Since his election, Bajada has made it his mission to listen attentively, bring meaning to political discourse, and champion a better quality of life especially for young people and those whose voices often go unheard.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment: “With the same energy, I will continue this work and more with even greater strength. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”
