
Malta Women’s National Team coach Manuela Tesse has named a 25-player squad for their decisive UEFA Women’s Nations League fixtures against Cyprus and Andorra, with a historic promotion to League B within reach.
With just two matches remaining, Malta tops Group C1 with nine points from four games, ahead of Cyprus (seven), Andorra (four), and Georgia (four).
The team will face Cyprus on Friday in a match that could secure promotion with a win, followed by an away fixture against Andorra on 3rd June.
Both games will be broadcast live, Friday’s encounter on TVM Sport+ and Tuesday’s clash on TVMNews+.
The squad features a blend of international experience and local talent.
Star forward Haley Bugeja continues to impress with Italian giants Inter Milan, while Maria Farrugia has enjoyed a stellar season in England, earning personal accolades with Sheffield United.
