As Malta continues its vaccination programme and cautiously approaches a reality where COVID-19 may be a thing of the past, vaccination numbers continue to rise, with the island set to reach a total 170,000 vaccine doses today, 50,000 of which being second doses.
These encouraging numbers appeal to the recent uncertainty of the island, following a week-long stretch of record-high case numbers, with recent reports revealing a drop in new cases and R Factor.
