Malta Premier League and PBS Enhance Match Day Experience with New Camera Setup

Aug 9 2024 Share

The Malta Premier League, in collaboration with the national broadcaster PBS, has made a significant investment to elevate the match day experience for viewers as the new season kicks off next week. Responding to long-standing concerns from television audiences, the league has introduced a new camera position at the National Stadium, promising to bring the true atmosphere of live matches into homes across the country.

Previously, the main camera was positioned in the stadium’s enclosure, limiting the ability to capture the full energy of the crowd. Now, with the camera relocated to the Millennium Stand, viewers will be able to experience the vibrant noise and excitement generated by fans, especially those in the West A and West C stands.

This new camera angle, positioned directly opposite the main stand, will also provide clear views of key areas such as VIP boxes, team benches, and press sections. Additionally, a permanent studio has been installed at the Millennium Hall, enhancing TV production and pre-match coverage.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Malta Premier League to improve standards and offer a more engaging experience for fans as the 360Sports Malta Premier League prepares to begin next Friday.

In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, Stewart described the film, which she also wrote, as “radical in a million ways.” The film is expected to address complex subjects such as childhood sexual abuse, queer romance, BDSM, and addiction.

Stewart has been trying to start production on this film for 7 years but never could finance it due to how radical the film was, however now that she has finally been given the opportunity to start production locals couldn’t be more excited to see Malta also star in her film.
