Malta Police Union welcomes new policy where tattoos ‘are not considered a taboo any longer’

The Malta Police Union has welcomed the Malta Police Force’s newly-published policy regarding tattoos.

“The Union is pleased that finally, the policy has been published and Tattoos are being regulated and not considered a taboo any longer”, the union wrote.

The Police Force’s previous position on tattoos stirred quite a lot of controversy around the Maltese Islands, with many highlighting how tattoos do not change the nature of the person and considering them as ‘taboo’ is an incorrect mentality. Do you welcome the new changes?
