The Malta Police Force issued a thank you to not only the public but also its many officers currently working to ensure a smooth electoral process.

‘As Election Day comes to a close, we extend our gratitude to the public for your cooperation and understanding – your support has been invaluable in ensuring a smooth and orderly election process’, the force wrote on social media.

‘A special thanks to our dedicated officers for their tireless efforts and commitment throughout the day – your hard work and professionalism have been exemplary.’

‘We now shift our resources to the counting hall for the second part of the process. Let’s continue to work together to ensure a successful conclusion to this important day.’

Amid the current election result fever, supporters of the Labour Party have started taking to the streets to celebrate what Prime Minister and PL leader Robert Abela revealed to be a win for the party.

As anticipation continues to build in the Naxxar counting hall, Robert Abela has addressed followers of the Labour Party to advise that the party has secured another win in the European Parliament elections for the Labour Party.

While some have taken to the streets to celebrate, PN Secretary General Michael J Piccinino has revealed that the margin between both parties has reduced significantly to 15k, with the PN securing its best performance in European Parliament history with a chance to once again secure three seats in European Parliament.

Earlier today, PN Secretary General Michael Piccinino addressed the media to advise that the Nationalist Party secured its best-ever European election performance, pointing at a third seat in the European Parliament for the PN with an expected voting margin of 15,000 votes.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Robert Abela has addressed party followers that the Labour Party secured another win in this year’s election.
