Malta ‘one of the least strict countries’ in EU for COVID-19 measures

Jan 25 2021 Share

In an index published by the University of Oxford, it was reported that Malta is one of the least strict countries in the European Union when it comes to COVID-19 mitigation measures.

The index highlights international governmental efforts with regards to controlling the pandemics and considers measures such as curfews, lockdowns and others with Malta scoring a 52.78 based on information gathered up until January 11.

For comparison, Italy registered an 80.56 score, Germany and Ireland 85.19 and Finland 52.31 with the researchers noting that a high score does not mean that a country has been more effective in the imposition of its measures.

Brown’s offer various treatments which are related to aesthetics namely; Botox, Dermal Fillers and PRP.

Botox at Brown’s is tailored for the following areas; Crow’s feet,
Frown lines, Forehead lines and Neckbands. Botox is administered by means of injections after having attended a consultation with a Brown’s professional aesthetic medical doctor. Results can be seen as soon as 4 to 6 days after getting the treatment and they can last anytime between 3 to 6 months. If you want to extend the time span of your botox, you can just get a top-up at Brown’s.

Dermal Fillers can be used for minimising the depth of the nasolabial folds (crevices between nose and mouth), reducing Smoker’s lines (above the lips), increasing volume in the cheeks and lips. Dermal fillers are also administered in the form of injections and are made up of hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance found in the skin. Results can be seen immediately and can last anywhere from 9 to 12 months.

PRP(platelet-rich plasma)is a treatment used for facial rejuvenation, acne scar repair, and alopecia (hair loss/thinning). This procedure uses the patient’s own blood in order to obtain their own PRP layers. PRP can then help with the stimulation of collagen for facial rejuvenation which will then reduce the appearance of fine lines or for the stimulation of hair follicles which would help with people who suffer from hair loss or thining.
