Malta has been making headlines after Australian singer and actress Delta Goodrem tied the knot with her fiancé Matthew Copley in a private wedding on the island.

Various news outlets reported the secret wedding as taking place in the European country in the heart of the Mediterranean, making this yet another case of celebrities picking the island for their special memories.

Goodrem, who is based in Sydney, topped the ARIA Albums Chart in 2003 with her debut studio album ‘Innocent Eyes’,

She has also been a coach for eight seasons of The Voice Australia, going on to win several awards and selling over eight million albums globally.

Marbled Electric Ray Spotted In Maltese Waters

Taking to social media, marine biologist Alan Deidun shared footage sent to him by Ryan Curmi of the marbled electric ray, known as ‘ħaddiela komuni’ in native Maltese.

The ray, spotted in local waters, is capable of delivering an electric discharge of 70 to 80 volts!

Even newly born rays are capable of delivering this electric discharge for hunting purposes.

Alex Borg To Make PN Leadership Decision Soon

Taking to social media, PN MP Alex Borg said that he will be making a decision in the coming days about whether he will be contesting for leader of the Nationalist Party.

Borg was among the favourites to take on the title, leading even former leader Adrian Delia and former MP & current lawyer Franco Debono.

‘Many of you asked how I am quieter than usual’, he wrote on social media.

‘I am currently attending a lot of meetings that take their time and I believe that one less word is better than an unnecessary one.’

‘Your support and courage keep me moving forward, and I am currently listening more than speaking.’

He said that the decision he will take will be one for the good of the country and the Nationalist Party, and for no other reason.

‘A number of things need to be placed on the scale, among them the political relevance of the PN and where it wants to go in the future.’
