The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has compiled and published data which illustrates COVID-19 testing rates per 100,000 people.
In this data, Malta’s rate stands at the second highest with 3,335.97 tests per 100,000 people, placing only second to Luxembourg’s 6,452.58 testing rate.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, health authorities have carried out 308,790 swab tests, with rapid tests to be introduced from October 28.

Insider sources have confirmed that all ministers were instructed to do a swab tests.
It is reported that all of the ministers’ swab tests turned out negative.
However, the same source has reported that there are multiple positive cases at the Office of the Prime Minister.

Tom Holland took to Instagram to reveal an on-set snapshot of himself as Nathan Drake from the Uncharted film.
The adventure game-turned-movie is scheduled to hit theatres in Summer 2021 and the buzz around the film is huge.
Nolan North, the original voice behind the video game version gave Tom his blessing as he also shared some snapshots from his set visit.

Fabio Spiteri, the Maltese Ultra-Triathlete well-known for his great feats of endurance, plans to cycle around Sicily’s coastline in aid of animal charities.
Spiteri plans to take on the circa 1,000km challenge to raise at least €30,000 for multiple animal organisations around Malta, a cause which he is very passionate about.
