After a rainy past couple of weeks (in Maltese standards), Malta could be hit with hail yet again later on today.

Yesterday, due to weather instability in central Mediterranean which also hit places like Sicily, there was a brief but intense hail shower in parts of southern Malta.

Rain is expected this afternoon with there also being a possibility of hail due to temperatures dropping which would he chance of icy precipitation.

Facebook page  Aġġornament tat-temp have revealed that today’s forecast suggests partly cloudy skies in the morning, with a chance of rain, becoming cloudier as the day progresses, leading to scattered showers.

Winds will blow from the southwest at Force 5, shifting to west-northwest at Force 5 to 6. The highest temperature is expected to reach 17°C, while the lowest will drop to 12°C.

Dr Abela collaborated with MasterChef Malta contestants Andrew Debattista, Nicholas Bartolo, Florina Silvio, and Ian Agius, along with San Vinċenz management, to create a nutritious and varied menu.

With performances by singers Glen Vella and Jasmine Abela, Ikla bi Mħabba offered a few hours of entertainment to residents, including those who rarely receive visitors and may experience loneliness.

Dr Abela highlighted Malta’s values of love and compassion. “Our message today is that we must support, uplift, and bring joy to one another,” she stated.

The elderly expressed their gratitude, noting they had not expected to enjoy themselves so much.

This was the first edition of Meal with Love, with plans for it to become an annual tradition, reaching even more seniors in the years to come.
