Malta 7th in vaccination by proportion of population rankings; PM Robert Abela praises health workers

Prime Minister Robert Abela has shared a graph put together by Our World in Data and the Financial Times, which puts Malta in 7th place in the ‘international rankings with respect to the proportion of the population inoculated’.

The Prime Minister also reported that the Government’s vaccination strategy is 2nd in the European union as countries continue to vaccinate their citizens with hopes towards a COVID-free world.

Dr. Abela concluded by thanking health workers in the field who are working hard to increase vaccination rates everyday and thanking citizens who have welcomed their vaccine invitation.
