Majority Think Daiana Will Be Eliminated Tonight

Most of you think Daiana will be the packing her bags tonight as she faces elimination from the Love Island Malta villa!

On two separate polls, one on Facebook and one on Instagram, Daiana racked 98 votes and 68% of the votes respectively.

However, Daniel is a close runner up, with up to 70 votes on Facebook as well as 27% of the votes on Instagram.

Keenan seems to be relatively safe, with him barely racking up any votes.

But, we will have to wait and see!

Today, summer officially begins!

Well, the meteorological summer at least. We’ve all been in summer mode for quite a while now!

Meanwhile, the astronomical summer, which is based on the position of the earth relative to the sun, begins on the 21st of June 2025 on the solstice. That’s the longest day and shortest night.

Facebook weather page It-Temp Madwarna also gave a run down on the past spring season, reporting how the highest temperature reached 29°C on the 7th of May.

Meanwhile, the lowest temperature was 9°C on the 21st of March. March 2025 also registered the most rain, with an average of 81.4mm, with April registering the lowest at 7.7mm.

Neptunes WPSC claimed victory in the 2025 SportMalta Centenary Cup, defeating arch-rivals San Ġiljan ASC with a decisive 8-4 win in the final.

Sam Gialanze was the standout performer, netting four goals for Neptunes.

Veteran player Stevie Camilleri added two more, while Julian Valletta and Jake Bajada each contributed a goal to secure the win.

The triumph marks Neptunes’ success in the second edition of the SportMalta Cup.

Dog Rescued After Falling From Cliff In Mellieħa

A dog was safely rescued last Friday after falling from a cliff in the Mellieħa area, thanks to the prompt and professional response of Civil Protection Malta.

Firefighters from Fire Station 3 were dispatched to the scene and carried out a challenging rescue operation using advanced rope access methods. 

The dog had ended up in a dangerous spot, but the trained team managed to descend safely and bring the animal back to safety.

The successful recovery was made possible by the team’s quick intervention and technical skills. The dog was unharmed and has since been reunited with its owner.
