Major Deadpool And Wolverine Hype Ahead Of Global Release

Jul 24 2024 Share

Ahead of the much-anticipated global release of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ the film has generated major hype worldwide.

One area where the film has made a significant impact is gaming, with the release of themed Deadpool and Wolverine Xbox controllers going viral. These playful controllers are shaped to resemble Deadpool’s and Wolverine’s behinds. Unfortunately, they will only be available to one lucky winner, who will also receive a Deadpool-inspired Xbox Series X Console.

Another clever marketing tactic is the Deadpool & Wolverine Official Popcorn Bucket, inviting fans to reach into Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine’s mouth. This bucket, inspired by the viral Dune 2 popcorn bucket, has yet to be confirmed for availability in theaters.

The film has also made a surprising appearance in the world of Formula One. Alpine, the team in which Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has a stake, will race at the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend with a Deadpool and Wolverine-inspired livery. The car has swapped its traditional blue and pink colors for a striking red and black design with yellow accents.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ will be releasing globally on the 26th of July.

Mosta PL Councillors Storm Out From Debate About Reopening City Square

Jul 24 2024 Share

The long lasting Mosta Square saga which started a few months ago, and which was going to see the Mosta Square become a car-free zone, similar to many pedestrian areas around the world featuring significant buildings like the Mosta Rotunda. The plan, initiated under the Labour Party-led Mosta Council, aimed to transform the square into a pedestrian area.

Initially, the decision was made to close the square to cars only on weekends, specifically on Saturday evenings and Sundays, allowing foot traffic only.

However, in response to complaints from residents and business owners about increasing traffic congestion in the surrounding areas, the newly elected Nationalist Party-led Council has introduced a resolution to keep the square open to cars at all times, starting this September.

The council meeting where this decision was announced ended in chaos, with half the members walking out. The resolution has sparked a wave of reactions from residents, experts, councilors, architects, Ministers, and Parliamentary Secretaries, with opinions sharply divided on the issue.
