Mark your calendars for summer 2021 as Netflix has announced that Omar Sy will return as master thief Assane Diop in Season 2 of Lupin.

Netflix’s Twitter for ‘Strong Black Lead’ left a tweet with Season 2’s poster after the hit series rose to Netflix’s number 1 spot in 10 countries and became somewhat of a cultural phenomenon worldwide.

Not the appropriate time for fans’ return to stadiums, Prof. Gauci says

The Superintendent for Public Health, Professor Charmaine Gauci has stated that it is not the appropriate time for authorities to allow the return of fans to local stadiums.

In a response during today’s health bulletin, Prof. Gauci expressed disagreement with the South End Core’s proposal to allow football fans limited entry as part of trial.

She went on to state that the authorities must first monitor Malta’s inoculation process, then decide whether or not it is safe to allow fan attendance during football games.

Johnson & Johnson vaccine 66% effective in global trials, company says

Johnson and Johnson have reportedly developed a single-shot COVID-19 vaccine which the company has reported to be 66% against moderate and severe illness in the third phase of their global trials.

They went on to report that the vaccine is 85% effective against the most serious symptoms, with many countries around the world in desperate need for more vaccines.

As stated by Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine branch, Janssen, the vaccine’s 85% efficacy prevents severe diseases, that is, ones that “make you feel particularly sick at home, or may go to the hospital, or worse..”

High-intensity activities are leading to more COVID-19 clusters

During a live conference today, Prof Charmaine Gauci noted that more clusters are being found when activities of high-intensity training take place.

Prof Gauci said that this might be happening because a person would take much more breaths and that this might lead to an infected person spreading more of the virus onto other people.

Prof Gauci urged for regulations to be followed during such activities and that social distance is of utmost importance.
