Meanwhile, Carlo Zammit Lonardelli and Nicole Sciberras bagged the Men’s Best Young Player & Women’s Best Young Player respectively.

Carmel Busuttil bagged the MFPA Merit Award, with Mauro Camoranesi earning MFPA Best Coach.

Matthew Debattista was awarded the Best Challenge League Player title, whereas Kurt Borg emerged as the standout Amateur League Player of 2024. Trustin Farrugia Cann earned the MFPA Best Referee.

His agent confirmed the news in the early hours of this morning, marking the end of a remarkable career that spanned over four decades.

Hill’s portrayal of Captain Edward Smith in James Cameron’s 1997 epic “Titanic” earned him widespread acclaim and solidified his status as a versatile and talented actor. The film itself went on to win 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, catapulting Hill into the international spotlight.
