Fresh off her Eurovision appearance, Sarah Bonnici has released her new single, “Lose.” Co-written and composed by Sarah Bonnici and Micimago, and produced and mixed by Micimago at Micimago Studios, “Lose” is a lively, uptempo pop track. Through her lyrics, Sarah delves into her internal battle with overthinking and her constant struggle to escape the relentless cycle of circular thoughts.

At 25 years old, Sarah is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, dancer, and pianist who discovered her passion for the arts at a very young age. In 2009, she made her debut at the Malta Junior Eurosong, where she secured third place.

After Clinton was revealed as one of Love Island Malta’s Season 2 contestants, a flood of racially motivated hate comments as well as other discriminatory messages were posted by various users on social media.

Some ridiculed the fact that it is called Love Island Malta and that it should have been reserved for Maltese people (despite Clinton having lived here since the age of 14).

Other comments suggested that the inclusion of Clinton would pave the way for Indian and/or non-binary contestants.

MaltaDaily stands in firm opposition to such comments and condemns all discriminatory remarks sent their way.

Many other commenters did however show their support for Clinton, expressing their support for the young rapper as he enters the villa in search of love.

Together with the National Book Council, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Active Aging unveiled a new concept of library at San Vinċenz de Paul. This project involves the setup of three telephone booths, converted by maintenance section workers, now serving as places where residents can borrow books.

These libraries are located in areas regularly frequented by residents and their relatives. They house over 200 books in Maltese and English, donated by the National Book Council.

Parliamentary Secretary Malcolm Paul Agius Galea expressed satisfaction with this initiative. “This library not only promotes reading among our elderly but also provides space for more interaction and mental activities, crucial for the well-being of every individual. We thank the National Book Council for providing these resources, which will continue to promote reading and mental activity among the elderly.”

National Book Council Executive Director Mark Camilleri spoke about the importance of making books accessible to vulnerable communities. With this new concept, San Vinċenz de Paul continues to expand its range of activities, with a strong emphasis on promoting reading and active aging.
