Jun 2 2024 Share

WWE sensation and legendary youtuber Logan Paul has offered to fight boxing brother Jake Paul, after his fight against boxing icon Mike Tyson had to be postponed due to the 57-year old’s recent health scare.

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson were supposed to fight on the 20th of July in a blockbuster deal which would have seen the first ever boxing fight exclusively shown on streaming service Netflix.

Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions announced the postponement on Friday (31 May) saying that Tyson’s ulcer flare-up will prevent him from training properly in the lead up to the fight.

“Both Mike and Jake are in agreement that it is only fair to ensure that both athletes have equal training time to prepare for this important match and are able to compete at the highest level,” the statement read.

“The health and well-being of athletes is our top priority, and we fully support Mike in taking the necessary time to allow him to perform at the level he expects of himself.”

After the dropout, Jake Paul’s brother Logan posted to twitter saying that he’ll step in for Tyson and finally end the brotherly rivalry between the Pauls.

Who do you think would win between the two?

Activists Demand End to Gaza Genocide and Free Palestine

Jun 2 2024 Share

This afternoon, activists including members of Moviment Graffitti gathered outside the Maltese Parliament in Valletta to call for an end to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and to advocate for a free Palestine. The demonstration was marked by passionate speeches and symbolic displays of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Moviment Graffitti shared a powerful message on social media, stating: “This afternoon we gathered once again outside the Maltese Parliament to call for an end to the genocide in Gaza and a free Palestine.” The post highlighted the situation in Rafah, a city currently experiencing intensified aggression from Israel. “Right now, Israel is intensifying its massacre in Rafah – a small city sheltering a million and a half Palestinians who had fled the genocidal aggression in the rest of Gaza.”

The activists expressed unwavering support for the Palestinian people and a strong condemnation of the international community’s role in the conflict. “Our disgust will remain towards countries such as the United States, Germany and Britain who have enabled the dispossession of Palestinians by Israel for 76 years, and are now supporting genocide.”

The rally in Valletta underscores the commitment of local activists to keep the plight of Palestinians in the global spotlight. With slogans like “FREE PALESTINE ,” they vowed to continue their advocacy until significant change is achieved.
